Kozachuk I. Improvement of indicator, effective and ecological parameters of gas engines converted from diesels

The dissertation is devoted to improvement of indicator, effective and ecological indexes of converted from diesels gas engines by the choice of expedient values of structural and regulation parameters. The method of the gas engine indexes evaluation is developed, in which the specified mathematical model of gas engine working cycle is underlaid. The mathematical model allows to research influence of structural and regulation parameters on the indicator, effective and ecological indexes of engine taking into account the features of combustion of natural gas. Calculation and experimental researches of converted from the diesel D-240 gas engine are conducted, in relation to the predication of compression ratio and determination of ignition dwell angle influence on the gas engine indexes. The values of ignition dwell angle in all ranges of the speed and loading modes of gas engine are determined.
