Svyda I. Regional mechanisms of the development of the hotel business under circumstances of market economy ( based on the materials of Transcarpathian oblast)

Thesis is dedicated to elaboration of theoretical and metodological and applied principles of formation of regional mechanisms of development for enterprises of hotel business under conditions of market economy. The content and essence of the concept "hotel business" , its links in the system of economy have been presented. The necessity of science based and complex approach with regard for specificity of the trend has been shown. The activity of home hotel enterprises has been analyzed, main obstacles , tendencies and perspectives of the development of the hotel business have been generalized. That helped to work out possible ways of reduction of threats and use of possibilities for further effective functioning of the brunch. The necessity of influence of state and local governmental bodies on the activity of hotels has been substantiated; have been worked out the methods of market management of the hotel enterprises activity. On the basis of the market research and SWOT- analysis of the market ofthe hotel services in Transcarpathia the regional mechanisms of development have been worked out. Introduction of these mechanisms allows to solve the problem of adaptation of hotel business enterprises to the new conditions of economy and introduction of new European standards.
