Essay

The thesis deals with the peculiarities of the processes of free radical oxidation of lipids under the influence of cerebrovascular pathology. The thesis also deals with the impact of medicine on these processes with the purpose to correct cerebrovascular pathology through treatment and preventive means. On the basis of the conducted research it was established that hemorrhage apoplexy results in changes of peroxide oxidation of lipids. Changes in the processes of oxidation caused by hemorrhage apoplexy was accompanied by changes in the content of TBA-reactive substances, the activity of the key enzimes of superoxidedismutasе and katalasе, the level of glutation as well as glutation-dependent enzymes and the key ferment of interferon-induced cascade of 2'-5'-OAS. We have shown that the use of antioxidant quercetin preparation leads to normalization of biochemical indications of tissue metabolism. It has been shown that treatment by medicine with antioxidant properties normalizes peroxidation processes. Thus, antioxidant medicine may be suggested both for prevention and complex treatment of cerebrovascular pathology.
