Essay

In this thesis one of the least studied areas of diplomacy is researched. On basis of domestic and foreign historiography achievements, new archive materials study, published documents, periodicals and memoirs diplomatic relations between Poland and USSR can be seen against the background of the whole complex of international relations in 1921-1923. The role and place of USSR diplomacy in soviet-polish relations is also researched. The policy of Poland towards USSR and other Soviet republics, Polish and Soviet diplomats' activities are evaluated in this thesis. Close interconnection of diplomacy and secret services of that period are also pointed out.
