Strutinska V. The influence of climate changes on the thermal and ice regimes of the Dnieper's rivers (within the territory of Ukraine) from the second-half of the 20-th century.

Dissertation is dedicated to the problem of climatic changes affecting on the thermal and ice regimes of rivers within the Dnieper river basin from the second-half of the 20-th century. The landscape-hydrological method of study for the thermal and ice regime characteristics of the rivers depending on climate changes was grounded and realized in the work. It was determined exact term (a year) of the beginning of modern changes in the characteristics of air temperature within the Dnieper river basin. The mechanism of space-time dynamics of distributing air temperature and characteristics of the thermal and ice regimes for rivers within the Dnieper river basin for separate landscape-hydrological provinces under the influence of climatic changes was investigated. Evaluation of possibility to forecast some characteristics of thermal and ice regimes for the Dnieper rivers depending on the air temperature is realized as well.
