AObject - formation of the organizational and economical mecha-nism of the health-recreation complex development in the towns of Ukraine. Goal - theoretical basis of health-recreation complex for-mation and its functioning have been summarized. The object of the research is Berdyansk health-recreation complex as a factor of town development. The stages of its development and its modern state have been analyzed. On the basis of this analysis the total economical effectiveness of its functioning have been calculated Methods - system and situa-tion approaches, system analysis, method of analogies, construction of systems, economic-mathematical modeling. Novelty - laws of formation of the organizational and economical mechanism of the health-recreation complex development in the towns of Ukraine.. Result - the estimation of efficiency of organizational structures of the organizational and economical mechanism of the health-recreation complex development in the towns of Ukraine. Applied - propositions aboutthe raising effectiveness of the health-recreation complex activities have been worked out.
