Essay

An object - the processes of analysis, treatment, transformation and encoding of images in telecommunication networks. The goal is to increase efficiency the systems of storage and transmission images by decrease volume of data storages and decline of communication traffic. Methods - the theory treatment and presentation of images, theory orthogo-nal transformations and information encoding, mathematical statistics. Novelty – the method determination of maximal order context the PPM algorithm is first developed, which unlike known determines and uses statistical properties of images; the method to change the coloured presentation of images, in part adaptive determination the main color compo-nents, is improved, on the basis of analysis initial color mak-ing images; the method to determination probability the sym-bol of transition the PPM algorithm in part of finding fre-quency the symbol to transition on the basis statistical infor-mation of images is improved; the method of preliminary es-timation the degree of data compression for the methods com-pression on the basis the context modeling PPM and arithme-tic encoding is first developed, which unlike known takes into account to the feature of practical realization algorithms con-text modeling and arithmetic encoding. The proposed methods are realized as software-algorithmic means and implemented in several enterprises. Application area – the systems to ar-chiving and storage of images.
