Power supplies systems of ferroalloys submerged arc furnace with thyristor on-load tap changer (TOLTC); increase of resource and improvement of the power supplies systems by the use of the developed analysis methods and modernization of TOLTC in furnace transformers; the methods of the calculation of electric circuit, mathematical and computer modeling, numeral-analytical device on gas discharge theory, experiment in the power supplies systems of ferroalloys furnace; the construction of the power supplies systems of ferroalloys furnace with the TOLTC is grounded, the theory of electromagnetic processes in the power supplies systems of ferroalloys furnace is complemented; power supply systems with TOLTC in the furnace transformers, that allows to limit the overloads at taps change over switching and substantially to promote their resource, the computers models complex of the power supplies systems is developed, characteristics, specifying quantitative intercommunications of descriptions of the power supplies systems with the parameters of electric energy distributing in furnace at voltage adjusting in the furnace transformers are got, introduction - in operating plant and educational process; using in power engineering, electrometallurgy.
