Essay

The activity of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) was investigated under development and healing of stress-induced gastric mucosa injuries. It was established, that disturbing factor activated NOS and increased the levels of nitrite and peroxynitrite in the tissues. These biochemical changes were accompanied by the development of gastric mucosa damages. While using selective inhibitors of neuronal and inducible NOS, and also during the research of the mRNA expression character of each isoform it was discovered that the main contribution to the nitric oxide hyperproduction is made by the constitutive isoforms of NOS and during the regenerative process NO is involved, which is synthesized by inducible isoform of the ferment. It was registered enlargement protein kinase G activity under stress-induced ulceration. It was detected lipids peroxidation intensification and disturbances of functioning of ferments of antioxidant protection under development and healing of stress-induced gastric mucosa injuries.
