Essay

The object of research is a process of voltage regulation and power crossflows control by a phase-shifting transformer and an on-load tap-changing transformer. Research methods are methods of automatic control theory for analysis and mathematical model improvement of the longitudinally transversal voltage regulation system, finite automata theory for the regulative device structure synthesis and the creation of a microprocessor controller management programme, Boolean algebra for minimization of sequential expressions, probability theory, and numerical problem-solving procedures. Theoretical value of the work is the development of a new law of transformer management with the longitudinally transversal voltage regulation, which is based on the use of active and reactive power and value derivative reactive power, mathematical model improvement of transformer system control for the ongitudinally transversal regulation. Practical importance of the received results is the development of controlling device structure, a computer model of automatic control system and a microprocessor controlling device software development. Implementation is within the competence of industry. A field of use is within power companies.
