Essay

The object is the processes of the turbulent burning of the gaseous fuel in GTE low-emission combustion chambers; the aims are characteristics improvement of low-emission combustion chambers with steam injection and burning of partially premixed lean fuel-air mixtures for power gas turbine engines; methods - theoretical analysis and experiment, general theory of design and planning of expe-riments, statistical analysis; the new approach lies in development and verification of the kinetic mechanisms of appearance and decomposition of nitrogen and carbon oxides, connection between NOx emission and distributing of atomic oxygen concentrations is exposed and dependence for their determination is offered, it is proved the by a calculation way that for the combustion chambers with the burning of partially premixed lean fuel-air mixtures and maximum temperature in the chamber lower than 1900 K mechanism of forming of nitrogen oxides through a nitrous oxide N2O plays an important role up to 50 %, the information about speeds given on components in reverse-vortex combustion chamber shows the instability of central air swirl at the small charges of working body; the results are creation of the method of numeral experiment, design improvement of concrete low-emission combustion chambers; these theses were inculcated in GTR&PC"Zorya-Mashproekt" and in the educational process of NUS; the field of application is machinebuilding.
