The complex analysis of poetics of initiation space in Ukrainian folklore of different genres (fairytales, calendar-rites, family rites poetry, etc.) has been implemented in dissertation. Paper tracks reexamination of folk arts and artistic reflection of initiation rite archetypes, clarifies the appropriateness' of rite consciousness of archaic human recreated by the means of folklore text, researches magic-rite sources of motives and symbols of initiation space in national folklore, elicits the peculiarities of the people's artistic-mind evolution from the birth and in the making of creative thinking. It is proved that the ideas, participants and action plan of initiation rite served as a source for subject, motif, axiology and vividness of Ukrainian national poetics works, and a transition problem in folklore is an artistically-mythological legacy of creative thinking of previous epochs, as a result of creative idea evolution which has changed into the poetic symbolism.
