Object of research - process of measurement of level of liquid environments. Subject of research - capacity sensors of level. The work purpose - improvement of technical descriptions of capacity sensors of level. The work is devoted to the questions of subsequent improvement of components for the computer systems, in particular, capacity sensors of level. In the work models of capacity sensors of level are built and investigated, and also transmission functions and static descriptions of polyelectrode cylinder capacity sensors of level with superficial and radial electrodes and double-electrode capacity sensors of level with perpendicular disk and cylinder electrodes are got and investigated. Analytical expressions are got for the calculation of initial capacity and sensitiveness of the developed capacity sensors of level. The method of planning of capacity sensors of level which is characterized variation of form and spatial location of electrodes of capacity sensor is, in addition, offered, that allows to extend the technical base of planning of capacity sensors of level, to improve technical descriptions of capacity sensors of level and design the capacity sensors of level with necessary technical descriptions.
