Essay

The seasonal long-term investigations of water bodies and water courses phytophilous fauna of the Danube delta were carried out for the first time. The main regularities of phytophilous fauna development against ecological type of macrophytes and water bodies' type were determined (taxonomic structure, abundance, biomass, biodiversity on the different taxonomic levels). The ecological state of water reservoirs and water courses by hydrobiological characteristics of phytophilous fauna was determined.
