Yakymovych A. Fluctuations of concentration in binary metallic alloys with the limited solubility of components

It was studied the fluctuations of concentration in Pb-Sn, Pb-Bi, Bi-Sn, Bi-Ga, Bi-Zn, In-Bi, In-Sb, Al-Ni molten metallic alloys. The interrelation between fluctuation parameters and inhomogeneous structure for alloys of eutectic and monotectic systems. The influence of itrium on fluctuation processes in Al-Al3Ni eutectic melt has been also studied. Using the measurements of dynamic viscosity coefficient, electroconductivity, enthalpy of mixing and x-ray diffraction studies the temperatures of transitions from random atomic distribution to inhomogeneous one at cooling are determined. The viscosity data and model of associates are used in order to calculate the structural fluctuation parameter concentration-concentration fluctuation. The critical index of viscosity for monotectic melts of critical concentration has been calculated with using of dynamic theory of critical phenomena.
