The thesis is devoted to the theoretical and scientific-methodological principles of the organizational and socio-economic development of the rural territories in the specific conditions in Precarpathia. The complex model of the organization of system development of the rural territories of the region is worked out. The theoretic and methodological generalization of diversification and cooperation of the development of rural territories of the region is formed. The structural pyramid of the rural territories of the region is improved. The model of the functioning and the system development of rural territories of the region is considered. The influence of the zone's peculiarities on the development of the village and the rural territories of the region and the role of agricultural enterprises and other subjects of economy in this process is explored. The opinions of other researchers concerning the necessity of differentiation of problems of the development of the Ukrainian village into two groups the development of rural territories and the development of agroindustrial production are enlighten and the determining place of interests of peasants in the creation of rural territories.
