Essay

The work is devoted to study of ash influence on pore structure, combustion rate, their changes as function of coke residue conversion degree for power coal at different thermal processing conditions. It is analyzed the reasons of ash content increasing in Ukrainian coals, it's grounded the necessity of study of intrinsic and extrinsic ash distribution and its influence on coal burn-off. Influence is found of ash content and pyrolysis conditions on pore structure and burn-off character for different rate coals. Distribution of ash per particle sizes is studied in power coals and in dry coal waste. It's presented technical characteristics and ash size distribution when anthracite CFB-combustion. Recommendations are proposed in fuel choice and preparation for pulverized and CFB-combustion. Estimation is made of power unit reconstruction with CFB-boiler building economical effectiveness when high-ash anthracite and dry waste combustion.
