Essay

Object - process of formation and use of social and economic potential of a large industrial city within transformation of an economic complex old industrial region. The purpose - working out of theoretical positions of management by development, adaptations to strategic changes and a substantiation of methodical recommendations about realisation of process of strategic planning at formation of the plan for development of a large industrial city. Methods - scientific abstraction, the analysis and synthesis, historicity and logicality, the system-structural analysis, graphic representation of analytical data. Novelty - a theoretical substantiation of mechanisms of an effective utilisation of social and economic potential of a large industrial city. Result - the concept of strategic planning of development large industrial cities for the first time is developed. It is introduced - the Donetsk regional council, the Makeevsky City Council, Open Company «Makevsky factory "Перфопресс" DNUET of M. Tugan-Baranovsky at teaching of disciplines: «the Infrastructure of the commodity markets», «Regional marketing», «city Marketing». Branch-industry, higher education.
