Lukashchuk H. Initial stages of the secondary successions in natural forest complexes of Gorgany

Research object: natural complexes of felling areas in Gorgany. Research purpose: investigation of initial stages of secondary successions of vegetation cover on felling areas in different landscape-edaphic conditions of forest natural complexes in Gorgany. Research methods: silvicultural and inventory, compared ecology, conventional in phytocenology and mathematic-statistic. Scientific novelty: firstly was generalized ecological features of fellings in Gorgan and was educed the influence of landscape-edaphic conditions on concepts and stages of vegetative cover. Was discovered that process of natural reproduction of forest vegetation of felling areas is a secondary succession, which is a successive number of stages of short-term vegetative aggregating (initial, agglomerative and trees-shrubs). Succession display in defined landscape-forest conditions depends on edaphic conditions, especially on character of bare geological soil substrate: blocky stony placers, rubble and clay substrates. Degree of implementation: papers and point of issues on annual scientific conferences of Ukrainian National Forestry University, international theoretical and practical conference "Ukraine Forestry in Context of World Tendencies in Forestry Development" (Lviv, 2006). Theoretical and practical cognitive aspects of the dissertation work are used in studying such disciplines as: "Silviculture", "Botany" and "Dendrology" in Ukrainian National Forestry University. Field of implementation: forestry in mountain area of Ukraine Carpathians.
