Zhmurko I. Bioecological peculiarities of Scotch Pine ecotypes in the provenance trial plantations of the Western Polissya of Ukraine

The object of investigation is Scotch Pine provenance trial plantations (73 provenance trial plantations) in the Western Polissya of Ukraine. The aim of the dissertation is to analyze bioecological and taxation peculiarities of different variants of Scotch Pine and to find perspective ecotypes of trees in order to cultivate them in the Western Polissya of Ukraine. The methods of investigation are: forestry taxation, ecogeographical, morphometric, electrometric, mathematically statistical. Scientific freshnes. Scotch Pine ecotypes in the provenance trial plantations in the Western Polissya of Ukraine are characterized for the first time. The highest forestry effects are determined in the ecotypes from the nearest areas (Rivne, Lviv, Ternopil, Minsk). The Results: Zowth data base of Scotch Pine in the provenance trial plantations in the Western Polissya of Ukraine is completed. The best ecotypes of Scotch Pine are indicated regional talles of Scotch Pine provenance trial plantations growth are worked out, different origin trees crown parameters are confirmed. The degree of introduction. The results of investigation are used in the forest and hunting activity by Volyn forestry enterprises.
