Essay

The object is multimode power plants in which the thermodynamic cycle with an internal supply of heat is realized. The aim is increase fuel-economic and ecological indices of multimode fuel power plants (MPP) taking into consideration the decrease of carcinogenic danger of the burnt gases, due to application of alternative and composite fuels, including the use of hydrogen as the additional energy carrier. The methods are complex use of calculated and experimental methods. The new approach - the degree of inhibitory effect of hydrogen addition in composite fuel on processes of formation of carcinogenic components is proved; the criterion describing change of levels of the active contents of hydrogen in high-aromatic fuel is offered; the correlation between mass levels of benzapilene emissions and total carcinogenicity of burnt gases is proved. The theoretical and practical results - scientific principles of rational substitution of oil fuels for alternative energy carriers in MPP with forced ignition of gas mixtures are proved; the advanced combined systems for diagnostics of carcinogenic hydrocarbons in the burnt gases of MPP are created; the techniques for estimation of economic efficiency of using composite fuels and integrated estimation of ecological safety of MPP are developed.
