Didyk V. Strategic Planning of Development of the Region (on materials of Transcarpathian region)

Theoretical approaches to the definition of essence of development of the region are researched in the thesis, as well as the modern paradigms of strategic planning of the regional development, a process approach to the realization of planning in the context of strategic regional management are discovered. Тhe analysis of threats and opportunities of external environment, strong and weak features of internal environment of Transcarpathian region is conducted. On this basis the strategic positions of the region, which provide its competitiveness, are rounded. In the given thesis on the basis of results of cross-correlation regressive analysis the influence of factors upon the level of development of the region is researched, the perfection of organizational structure of regional organs of management from the position of introduction the strategic planning and controlling is offered, the model of strategic planning of development of the region is proposed.
