Essay

The results of theoretical investigations of triangular and singlet antiferromagnets with magnetic anisotropy of "easy-plane" type in magnetic field are presented in thesis. The field dependecies of six spin sublattices angles of turn are found. It is shown the existence of two types of critical fields. Different types of magnetostriction are analyzed. The thermodinamic theory is built for describing the phase transition in singlet systems from non-magnetic to antiferromagnetic state, induces by the field along the "heavy axis". The field dependencies of magnetization and magnetostriction are obtained and it is shown their good agreement with experimental data.
