Object of the research - software which is stored, processed and transferred in the computer systems and networks. The purpose of the dissertation research is development of new software and hardware based methods of software protection against illegal using and malicious software. Methods of the research are information security theory, theory of combinatorial algorithms, theory of the object-oriented design, theories of operating systems and databases. New methods of software protection against reverse-engineering were developed and implemented in the automated software protection system diProtector. The method of malicious programs detection was developed and implemented in the Comodo Company antivirus. The common models of symmetric and asymmetric cryptosystems with open key and hardware mechanism of programs protection against reverse-engineering, ripping and cracking got further improvement.
