Essay

A new research model of the rare plants species populations viability and vital strategy is approved. Limitation factors of Saussurea DC. species populations in Ukrainian Carpathians (S. porcii, S. alpinа and S. discolor) are found. The fact that the s-strategy is inherent for S. alpinа specie and the r-strategy is inherent for S. porcii specie has been proved.
