Essay

Dissertation is devoted to research of power efficient work conditions of the "heating furnace - section roll" system according to finite temperature of billet heating in furnace and regulation of heat losses during transportation by rolling-table due to the setting of energy-saving screens. Numerical model of heat exchange between roll and heat-insulating screen has been worked out, considering temperature change in circular section and in the length of rolling profile, temperature work conditions of screens of different construction, change of their efficiency with the view of cyclic recurrences work of equipment. Calculation researches have been held on choosing the efficient construction of screen isolation, basic structural characteristics of screens have been identified. The optimization of system "furnace - roll" has been performed and, as the result, the optimal temperature range of heating of billets in furnace, providing minimization of costs of finished rolling has been received.
