Balag N. Regional peculiarities of the problems of ecologisation of agricultural land usage (by the example of Zakarpatska oblast)

The thesis is aimed at analyzing the theoretical grounds and developing the methodological approaches to the formation of bases of the policy of ecologisation of land usage at state and regional levels. The essence of regional peculiarities of the usage of land resources in Zakarpatska oblast is fully studied in the thesis. Methodological peculiarities of alternative systems of farming are justified. Proposals on improvement of the mechanism of economic stimulation of land protection at regional level are developed. It is proved that the main priority directions of ecologisation of agricultural land usage in Zakarpatska oblast are as follows: balanced usage of land and other natural resources, introduction of environmentally friendly practice and methods of thrifty economic activity, sustainable development of agriculture and reservation of lands for nature protection and recreation goals. As a result of the SWOT-analysis of land usage of Zakarpattya it became clear that there are economic and environmental problems, the main of which are as follows: degradation of lands, incompleteness of the processes of land privatization, lack of practice and methods of environmentally friendly land usage as well as insufficient level of financial provision of lands protection.
