The Object: state of antioxidant system and humoral immunity in white rats with impairment by ethanol in combi-nation with prolonged infusion of salts of lead and cadmium. The Aim: to elucidate the peculiarities of state of anti-oxidant system and humoral immunity in white rats with impairment by ethanol in combination with prolonged infu-sion of salts of lead and cadmium and to find out an effective method of their correction by means of antioxidants and enterosorbents. Methods: biochemical, immunologycal, statistical. Novelty: the peculiarities of changes in antioxidant system and humoral immunity in white rats with impairment by ethanol in combination with prolonged infusion of salts of lead and cadmium was researched in this work for the firs time by means of methods of investigation - bio-chemical and immunologycal, and adequate methods of correction was proposed. The analysis of correlative depend-ence between the parameters of the antioxidant system and humoral immunity was held. The activation of lipoperoxi-dation, the high level of toxic products of peroxidation, decreasing of enzymatic and nonenzymatic chains of antioxi-dant system deep the pathological process. Introduction of enterosorbent "Algigel" and carnitine chloride in case of combined impairment of experimental animals by the salts of lead, cadmium and ethanol led to the improvement of immune and antioxidant systems of impaired animals.
