Malanchuk R. Clinical value, diagnostics and treatment of myofascial painful syndromes at a leg length inequality.

. Object of research: myofascial painful syndromes in lumbar and pelvic area, and in lower extremities. Aim of research: to raise efficiency of treatment of patients with myofascial painful syndromes at the truncated lower extremity by improvement of diagnostics and working out of optimum schemes of treatment. Research methods: general clinical, radiological, anthopometrical, compute optic topography of body surfaces, research of painful thresholds and trigger points with the help algotenzometry. Data are processed statistically. Frequency of myofascial painful syndromes (MPS) at patients with shortening of the leg and asymmetry of pelvic position was established. By means of computer optical topography position of pelvic axes to within 0,1o was studied, and also the reasons of leg shortening in patients with MPS are defined. For the first time it is proved informative value of computer optical topography of a body surface for an estimation of position of pelvic axes and the method of an estimation of leg length was developed, allowing defining and estimating to within 1mm a difference in leg length. On the basis of the received data are developed typical diagnostics and treatments scheme of patients with MPS at the leg shortening by means of orthopedic correction, extracorporal great dispatch-wave therapy which normalisation of pelvic spatial orientation, partially eliminating ¬ pathogenetic mechanisms of MPS and also their diagnostic and therapeutic value is proved. Results of research are introduced in practice of Regional clinical traumatologic hospital of of Kharkov and clinic of aesthetic orthopedy of Institute of Health of of Kharkov. Research materials are used in pedagogical process of doctors-cadets and interns of chair vertebrology, traumatology and anesthesiology KhMAPO.
