Davydova I. Ecological assessment of water and land pollution caused by explosive works realization by exploitation of granite quarries.

The thesis deals with the problem of influence of the explosion works at the excavating of natural resources deposits by the open-pit mining of the environment which is very important for the territory of Zhytomyr Polissya, Ukraine. The processes of formation of harmful matters by the explosive works realization on the quarries, the ways of they get to the land and water objects and the changes in the natural systems caused by them are investigated in the work. The main problems of the region of investigation, connected with mining have been analyzed. The characteristics of changes in chemical data of quarry waters by the realization of explosions are determined. Mathematical dependences of dynamics of the main data of waters quality are determined on their basis and a principle scheme for determining time, necessary for quarry waters self-cleaning is given. By means of experiments changes in the land caused by the products of exposing process have been discovered? Chemical processes in harmful matters and their influence on main land data and as a result - on the worsening of forest ecosystems, have been analyzed. The work contains recommendations concerning protection of environment from the influence of mining enterprises.
