Essay

The object of research - rail diagnostic signals from magnetic car inspection tool. The aim: to develop detecting methods of rails discontinuity based on study of probabilistic structure of signals by methods of periodically correlated random processes (PCRP). These tasks was solved with methods of statistical theory and stationary stochastic processes, theory and statistics periodically correlated processes and filtering theory was used. Novelty - the first was made the selection and analysis of stationary harmonic components of the flaw signal detected by inspection coach. First was built a diagnostic model of a signal from the defect-free rails for taking into account of a periodic non-stationary signal in PCRP-view. As well the method for signal separating from the defect on the back-ground pe-riodically correlated noise was built. Results - developing a rapid method of the signals testing for the presence of structural inhomogeneity from defects in the early stages of their inception. Hardware-sofware system based on developed algorithms was created and used in the analysis of rails surveying. Scope - Transportation.
