Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the process effectiveness raise of plasma coating by electromagnetic control through mutual spatial attitude of gas and solid phase of heterogeneous stream. By the results of the conducted experimental researches it was proved a possibility to manage the jet spatial attitude of low temperature plasma in technological plasmotrons of indirect effect by the magnetic response at the arc tail end in plasma generator channel. It is determined that there is a direct linkage between index of material usage under magnetic control of heterogeneous stream structure and qualitative characteristic of coating: adhesion strength increase of coating with basis and porosity reduction. It is shown that the gained coatings, by the structure and physic-mechanical characteristics improvement, have the higher resistance against abrasive wear in comparison with coatings, gained in a general way.
