Korolchuk S. Basic dyes as analytical reagents for the determination of the forms of Os (IV, VI, VIIІ) and Ru (VI)

The thesis is devoted to the use of basic polymethine and the derivatives of rhodamine dyes for the determination of analytical forms of Os (IV, VI, VIIІ) and Ru (VI). Protolytic and spectrophotometric characteristics of polymethine dyes of the styryl series of the derivatives of 2-[2-(4-diethylaminophenyl)-vinyl]-1,3,3-trimethyl-3Н-indolium were studied. Optimal conditions of the formation and the extraction of the ion associates of osmium (IV) with basic dyes were established. Main chemical-analytical characteristics of the ion associates were determined. The possibility of simultaneous determination of osmium (IV) and ruthenium (ІІІ) was demonstrated. Basic dye derivatives of 2-[2-(4-diethylaminophenyl)-vinyl]-1,3,3-trimethyl-3Н-indolium were proposed for the determination of Os (VI, VIIІ), Ru (VI). Optimal conditions of the determination of the analytical forms and the possibility of the determination of osmium (IV) and ruthenium (IV) in a single aliquot were investigated. Photometric and luminescence analyses of Os (VI) and Os (VIIІ) using rhodamine dye hydrazides were performed. Using obtained results, the techniques of spectrophotometric, luminescent determination of Os (IV), Os (VI), Os (VIIІ), Ru (VI) were developed.
