In the dissertation on the basis of great amount of archive and published documents is researched the process of formation, social and political development of the Republic of Macedonia in the period of 1991-2006. The author thoroughly has researched historical pre-conditions and the problems associated with Macedonia becoming a sovereign and independent state. The process of constitutional formation and international recognition of the new Balkan state is also widely covered. The features of public and political, social and economic development of Macedonia are comprehensively analyzed.
