Beljaeva A.J. Working out of principles of rational projection of spring elements of toolholders for turning with chip crushing. - Manuscript. The dissertation for a scientific degree of a Candidate of Technical Sciences on a speciality 05.03.01 - Machining processes, machine tools and tools. - National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute", Kyiv, 2009. The dissertation is devoted to development of principles of rational projection of spring elements of toolholders for turning with crushing of a chip on the basis of research of dynamic characteristics that of the elastic-stressed condition of cutting tool system of the of a lathe. It is displayed, that an essential redundancy of raise of efficiency of vibrational crushing of a chip at turning is use of special spring elements for an spring installation of a cutter and a possibility of its vibrational motions in the set amplitude-frequency range. Mathematical models of dynamic system of the cutting tool of a lathe which are simulating the process of crushing of a chip by cutter oscillations in a direction of a longitudinal feed and in a tangential direction are developed. New constructions of toolholders with spring elements in the form of a ring plate and in the form of a procarved spring are developed for crushing of a chip. As a result of researches the regimes of stable to crushing of a chip are defined at turning of different materials and recommendations for choice rational parameters of spring elements of toolholders are developed. Keywords: spring elements of toolholders, cutting with vibration, crushing of a chip, turning process.
