Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to the investigations of the phase-structural laws of hydride transformations and hydrogen phase naklep of palladium and the Pd-H system alloys in the cupola region of the two phase area. For the realization of the assigned task a new hydrogen-vacuum device HVD-3 was assembled and another one HVD-2 was modernized. As results of the investigations the irreversible and reversible effects were experimentally determined: the grain shift effect, effects of appearing stationary and moving soliton-like, coherent, temporary micro swellings. In the cupola area of two phase Pd-H system the hydride transformations in near-surface layers of PdHx alloys were investigated and their structural and morphological laws were determined. It was firstly shown that the intensity of palladium and palladium hydride hydrogen phase naklep at the transformations mainly is determined by the specific volume value of transforming phases.
