Essay

The urgent scientific and practical problem of providing high-level reliability of complex systems composed of heterogeneous multi-state elements (MSSHE) is solved in this dissertation. The MSSHE reliability optimization problems were formulated and solved via metaheuristic based on genetic algorithm (redundancy of multiple versions and maintenance when resource restrictions, requirements for task performing combinations were taken into consideration). Proposed metaheuristic's efficience was confirmed by experimental investigation.
