Essay

The regularities of transportation and delivery of present-day ABC-type fire extinguishing powders by dry chemical extinguishing systems have been revealed. Equations for the calculation of pressure losses at horizontal as well as vertical sections of the pipelines of distribution networks have been obtained. Values of resistance coefficients for P-2APM and Factor ABC-40 fire extinguishing powders have been obtained. The dependence of specific consumption of Factor ABC-40 fire extinguishing powder on the square of class B fire has been revealed. A procedure of calculation of distribution networks of powder fire extinguishing systems as well as some proposals concerning a draft state building code have been developed
