Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the research of self-efficacy as a factor of cross-cultural adaptation. The definition of the self-efficacy is defined as a characteristic of personal self-consciousness, structural functional model of the slef-efficacy is elaborated, explanatory model of cross-cultural adaptation is broaded and empirically confirmed. Diagnostic methodics of cross-cultural adaptation dependence on personal beliefs about one's own self-efficacy are elaborated. Ethnopychological features of self-efficacy structure that defined the successfull process and the results of the personal cross-cultural adaptation are revealed.
