Essay

The dissertation is devoted to petrogenesis of Ti-bearing gabbroic intrusions (TGI) located on Volyn Megablock of the Ukrainian Shield, and also to its ore-forming role. It is proved, that TGI formation is connected with magmatic evolution of basite component of Korosten Complex. The role of crystal-sorting and gravitational-kinetic differentiation in formation of different scale layering is established. Three geological-petrographic types of TGI which differ on their initial melts are allocated. The influence of subsolidus re-equilibration and disintegration of solid solutions on mineral composition and quality of Ti-ores is established.
