Essay

The dissertation is devoted to application chemically modified silica with covalently immobilised organic ligands (CCMS) which are capable to form strong complexes with ions of transitive and toxic metals, for pre-concentration and determination of microquantities of Pb, Cd, Hg, Ni and Cu ions in urine, drinking mineralized water by photometric, voltometric and atomic absorption methods. Sorption-photometric method for monitoring of drinking water contamination by Fe, Cu, Pb and Zn ions is proposed as well as sorption-atomic absorption and sorption - voltammetric methods for determination of Cu, Pb, Cd and Zn ion contents in artesian water at 0.1 MAC level; and sorption-photometric method to determination of cadmium and lead in human urine is developed.
