Dissertational work is devoted increase of efficiency of early detection of ignition cellulose materials at the expense of use in of gas fire detectors semi-conductor sensitive elements of helicoid type. According to experimentally-theoretical calculations efficiency on time of operation of gas fire detectors with a semi-conductor sensitive elements of helicoid type in 1,28 times is better than smoke fire detectors and in 1,71 times - thermal fire detectors. Recommendations about use of gas fire detectors with a semi-conductor sensitive elements of helicoid type are developed.
