Gorbatyuk K. Differential treatment of traumatic intracranial epidural hemorrhages

The dissertation is devoted to differential approaches to treatment of traumatic intracranial epidural hemorrhages (EH) with determination of new low-invasive method of their removing effectiveness by local application of fibrinolytic agents. Treatment outcome in 3 groups of patients were analyzed: 1) 30 patients, who required conservative-expectant treatment tactic, 2) 30 patients, who required immediate EH removing, 3) 30 patients in compensated or subcompensated condition, who required surgery.We proved that method of local fibrinolysis is indicated at patients with EH in compensated or subcompensated condition. Indications and contraindications to local fibrinolysis application, protocol and algorithm of this method were developed.The main results of our investigation have been provided in neurosurgical practice.Patent of Ukraine on useful model "Method of acute traumatic epidural hemorrhage treatment" was obtained.
