Thesis for the degree of the Candidate of Geographical sciences. - Speciality 11.00.07 - land hydrology, water resources, hydrochemistry. - Kyiv national University named after Taras Shevchenko, Kyiv, 2009. Dissertation is dealt with the study of the molybdenum coexisting forms in the waterbodies of different type. It is determined that the molybdenum migration in surface waters descends mainly in the dissolved state in the form of complexes with the dissolved organic matter (DOM). Their component composition plays a significant part in the binding of molybdenum in complexes. Humic substances have primary sense in complexing in the Dnieper reservoir (Kyiv, Kaniv), owing to the anionic molybdenum complexes dominate. DOM of neutral nature bring substantial role in the binding of molybdenum in complexes in the investigated lakes (Verbne, Jordan and Telbin). They are essentially carbohydrates. Molecular weight distribution of molybdenum complexes with anionic and neutral nature has been studied. It was shown that the majority molybdenum complex describe relativy low meaning of molecular weight (> 2,0 кДа). Complexing ability of DOM of the surface water and humic acids were determined in relation to the Мо(VI). Kinetic complexation have been studied with natural ligands. The different factors aquatic environment, as pH, oxygen regime, increased concentrations of fulvic acids and water mineralization influence on the molybdenum migration ability in the system "botton sediments - water".
