Object of research - specialized computer systems and their components; purpose - improving the diagnosis of specialized computer systems through modeling and distributed agent-based diagnostic method that provides processing of large amounts of diagnostic information in real time through the distribution of phases and tasks of diagnosis between the agents, methods and apparatus - analytical, experimental, theoretical and practical results - developed intelligent methods and tools for diagnosing computer systems, implemented a distributed multi-agent diagnostic system; novelty - a new method of diagnosing a distributed agent-based computer systems, which ensures the distribution of phases and tasks of diagnosis between agents, allows processing of large volume of diagnostic information in real time and thus improves the efficiency of diagnosis, improved behavioral models of the functioning of agents by exploring the interaction of stages and tasks of diagnostic agents by making the base and the role of knowledge, provided the distribution of phases and tasks of diagnosis between the agents, improved model of the specialized COPs objects in the diagnosis of the detailed description of hardware and software through an integrated presentation of a model that can be addressed specifically during the diagnosis, the degree of implementation - within the industry; sphere (sector) use - diagnostic computer system.
