Essay

This thesis is dedicated to the research of social capital as a predictor of civic activity among students. Theoretically and empirically was substantiated the psychological model of social capital, components of which are individual values, accessibility to the resource of social network and trust. Therefore, social capital was determined as an extent of accessibility to the resources of social network that is formed on the basis of prosocial values and values of openness to changes, and is supported by interpersonal trust.
