Essay

Research object: process of computer image synthesis of outdoor environments in visualization systems for vehicles training complexes. Research purpose: develop new and improve existing methods, models and algorithms for imaging outdoor environment in real time and create based on these software and hardware tools for the training complexes of different ground vehicles. Research methods: All provisions of the thesis is based on the fundamentals of the theory of image processing and computer graphics. In the research used methods of analytical geometry and linear algebra, methods of cluster analysis and digital signal processing. A computer and mathematical modeling is used to check efficiency of the proposed algorithms. Theoretical and practical results: developed and improved in the methods of synthesis of images, applying special effects, formation and storage of a landscape's compact description, brought to practical application. It's allows creating a visualization system for a variety of simulator systems of vehicles. Which use may increase quality and reduce the cost of training, and enhance the security of driving a vehicle. Novelty: A new method of landscape formation, taking into account the distribution of erosion and soils, which, unlike the existing models can reproduce a wide range of realistic landscapes. The method of compact storage heights fields, which, unlike the existing methods provides a decrease of 4 times the amount of memory occupied by the field. Improved method for calculating the illumination of the natural and artificial light sources that, in contrast to existing methods of simplifying and accelerating the synthesis and the imposition of special effects that enhance the realism of the image. Were further developed methods of calculating the orientation angles of the observer and the correction of geometric image of a three-dimensional scene using a nonlinear transformation, which differ from the existing order, which allows to accurately simulate the movement of transport worker tools on uneven surfaces subject to the limitations of the dynamic platform and improve the accuracy of mapping vnekabinnoy situation taking into account features of rights.
