Essay

Dissertation work is devoted to the study of the effect of changes in chronorhythm on the glutathione system of rats' liver under experimental toxic hepatitis and simultaneous introduction of melatonin and tincture of Echinacea purpurea. It is established that the intensity of lipid peroxidation and oxidative modification of protein content of reduced glutathione and activities of enzymes of the glutathione system in the rats' liver are determined to a great extent by the functional state of epiphysis, which was designed by the mode of illumination including periods of the light and the darkness.
