Research object: process of development of the housing real estate of city. Purpose: forming of theoretical, methodical bases and practical recommendations in relation to the improvement of organizationally-economic mechanism of development of the housing real estate of city taking into account social and economic priorities of regional development. Methods: monographic, index and comparative analysis - at the exposure of progress trend of the housing real estate; method of grouping - for the exposure of territorial differences in activity of markets of the real estate, economic-statistical method - for determination of character and features of development of the housing real estate in a region; system-structural method - for determination and optimization of functionally-component structure of market of the real estate, economic-mathematical design and prognostication - for the directionfinding development of the housing real estate of city. Results: developed scientifically-applied positions which enable to form the effective mechanisms of development of the housing real estate of city taking into account his economic and social priorities.
