Essay

In the thesis examined, factors and characteristics of the transformation of United States policy towards the countries of Eastern Europe after the cold war. The dissertation studies the Eastern European region in U.S. policy after World War II, American revolutionary changes are set out in the assessment of the Eastern European policy at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. The 20th cent. and researches the American concept of development of relations with the countries of Eastern Europe after the revolutionary transformations. The author reviewed the position of the United States of America concerning the enlargement of NATO and the EU to the East and outlined the main features of the political, diplomatic, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations the United States and the countries of Eastern Europe.
